WHERE TO PARK

FOLLOW SIGNS & VOLUNTEER CREW.

ROADSIDE PARKING.

On race day, park along the San Francisquito Canyon Road shoulder on both sides of the road. See the yellow areas on the map above. There is plenty of room in either direction for about 3/4 mile from the race festival entrance.

NO PARKING.

  • Do NOT pull into any driveways.
  • Do NOT block any driveways or gates.
  • Do NOT block any side roads.
  • Do NOT block any cars.
  • Cars will be towed at the owner's expense.

CARPOOL.

Parking is limited to only the roadside shoulder. To help ensure there is enough parking, we encourage everyone to carpool to the race. If you are running with friends, then buddy up and ride in one car to the race.

USE CAUTION.

  • Traffic can move fast.
  • Check for traffic & people when pulling in or out.
  • Watch for traffic cones—do NOT run them over.
  • Cross at designated crosswalks.
  • Look both ways when crossing the road.
  • Listen to volunteers.

DROP OFF ZONE.

The shoulder areas on San Francisquito Canyon Road offer a good drop-off zone if you are going to be dropped off in the morning and picked up after the race.

LOCK YOUR CAR.

Do NOT leave any valuables visible in the car. Hide them and lock your car. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Gear drop is available at the race festival.

COURSE ACCESS

GET TO THE TRAILHEAD.

Many runners like to train and preview the course route before race day.  While much of the course takes place on private property, it is accessible to the public to run.  Simply follow these guidelines:

  1. Park on the San Francisquito Canyon Road shoulder near the entrance to the race staging area.
  2. DO NOT drive onto any resident's property.  They are private property, and there is NO PUBLIC PARKING away from the San Francisquito Canyon Road shoulder.
  3. DO NOT disturb any residents.
  4. When parking, DO NOT block any trash cans, mailboxes, or driveways.
  5. Hide all valuables and lock your car.
  6. Hike in towards the event staging area, cross the creek bed (sometimes with water flowing), then follow the trailhead.

Important Notes.

  • It is recommended to open the Google Maps course link on your phone's Google Maps app or load the course GPS file into your preferred app.
  • Pack extra water and fuel. There is no access or amenities once you are on the trails.
  • Do not litter. Pack out your trash.
  • Sometimes in the Winter/Spring seasons, the creek will be flowing, and you'll have to get your feet wet to get to the trailhead.
  • These trails are popular with local mountain bikers. Be aware and listen for them coming up behind you. They can come very fast! Step aside to allow them to pass.
  • Be respectful and share the trails with others.
  • Remember not to disturb any residents.
